TRA-BT240S Capacitive Sensor Assembly for Raytools BT240S Laser Cutting Head, Within 3300W

Core Parameters and Structure

Dimensions: 70 × 44 × 30.5 mm. Compatible with D30 lenses and D32 nozzles; features an integrated

 ceramic ring, capacitive sensing electrode, and signal terminals. The nozzle is mounted at the bottom,

 the unit connects to the cutting head lens tube at the top, and the side terminals provide the height-sensing

 signal output.

Functions and Effects

Capacitive sensing is used to detect the real-time distance between the nozzle and the metal sheet,

 enabling automatic height tracking. This prevents nozzle collisions and ensures a uniform, stable kerf.

 Failure of the height-tracking system can lead to damaged workpieces or collisions with the cutting head;

 therefore, the sensor requires periodic replacement.
